Leadership Programs
All our leadership programs can be customized to meet the unique needs of your environment. We recognize that strong leadership is developed and maintained in a dynamic environment where leaders can acquire knowledge, apply the skills, test and measure the effectiveness, and gain feedback along the way. We invite you to consider combining leadership training with one or more of our corporate coaching programs.
The Language of Leadership (2 hr. module)
Applicable to ALL LEVELS-
The program is a quick overview of communicating for impact. We discuss powerful and powerless forms of communication. Powerful forms of communication demonstrate commitment, clarity, and character, and reinforce the notion that the person delivering the message is knowledgeable and a solid communicator. The audience will be engaged in identifying powerful and powerless forms of communication used in a scenario as well as their own, short presentation. This short session is a HUGE EYE OPENER for participants and can yield immediate improvement in communication skills.
Setting Clear Performance Expectations (2 hr. module can stand alone or 1 of 2 parts. Part 2 includes role plays and practice scenarios)

Driving performance and holding people accountable is challenging in any culture but when you inherit a team, have changing initiatives, or a highly diverse workforce it is especially difficult. This simple 5 step process provides a replicable model that any manager, team leader, supervisor, or even parent can use to clearly articulate expectations and outline the performance needed. The 5 steps include key factors of respect for the individual; tying the activity to vision, key initiatives, and the individual’s job description; acknowledgement of understanding and course of action; and follow up.
Leading to Correct Performance Problems (8 hr.s)

This potent program reviews the 3 major types of performance problems and provides techniques to prepare for the performance discussion, steps to follow in conducting the performance discussion, and the process to ensure the right level of performance occurs in the future. Recognizing the boundaries of performance, driving accountability and open communication are the key ingredients in this program. We present and work through a variety of performance issues and discussions. This class is highly interactive. Each participant will participate in holding these critical performance conversations.
The techniques reviewed and practiced in this program arm the participants with a method to create a safe environment conducive to mutual purpose and result oriented communication.
